Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for clean out of canals, LOXAHATCHEE NWR, Boynton Beach, FL. Work includes, but is not limited to removing silt and vegetation from existing canals using "dragline" or similar method which will be needed to achieve 6-9 foot depths for canals approximately 40-50 foot wide. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code is 23499. Size Standard is $ 17.0 Million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Issue date for RFQ will be on/or about Jun 12, 2001. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days from date of Notice to Proceed. Anticipated award date is Jul 12, 2001.
