Description

Solicitation Notice -- IFB N68711-00-B-8993, REPLACE POTABLE WATER MAINS, OCOTILLO HEIGHTS HOUSING (TP-E-0022M) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision to replace potable water mains, Ocotillo Housing including, but not limited to: demolition; earthwork; potable waterline installation; asphalt concrete pavement repair; concrete work; metal fabrications; and incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Site Visit 9:00 AM, local time, 27 Jun 2001. Only one site visit will be offered. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 11 Jul 2001. Duration of contract 180 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NOTE: Large business concerns are required to submit a subcontracting plan. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code 23491/SIC Code 1623. The related Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation's plans and specifications. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted.
