Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #N65236-01-R-0028 is issued as a sole source request for proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. This is a sole source procurement to Motorola, Inc., 8201 East McDowell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85252. NAICS 421690 applies. Motorola URC-LOS/CM series radios ; UHF/VHF Radio Replacement Program and Portable Emergency Transceiver Program. Various quantities of radios and ancillary items required (Detailed list citing descriptions and quantities required available upon request. Contact Cathy Walton to obtain list.) The operational frequencies of these radios will be in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and the Very High Frequency (VHF) Spectrums. A firm-fixed price type contract is anticipated.
