Description

The Port Hueneme Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to issue a solictation for a firm fixed price contract for engineering and technical services to design, develop and manufacture a Frequency Programmer module and accompanying test procedures for the Gun Fire Control System MK 86 AN/SPQ-9A Surface Search Radar. This Frequency Programmer will replace the existing Frequency Programmer in the AN/SPQ-9A Surface Search Radar. One (1) prototype and one (1) First Article unit will be developed in accordance with the design specification drawings and will be delivered for testing. After compatibility testing of prototype Frequency Programmer and approval of First Article Test and unit, manufacture of thirty-five (35) Frequency Programmers which will be for shipboard and shore facility installations, with an option to purchase an additional ten (10) Frequency Programmers to be used for interim spare support. Delivery of the Prototype to be 6 weeks after award of contract. Pre-delivey Inspection of Prototype to be at the contractor's facility, with functional testing to be performed at Port Hueneme, CA. FOB destination, Port Hueneme, CA. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330. The anticipated release date for this solicitation is on or about 7 June 2001.
