Description

Concerns having the ability to furnish the services described herein are requested to give written notification (including the telephone number for a point of contact) to the procurement office above within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of this synopsis. The contractor shall provide three manuscripts about the foraging behavior of major waterfowl nest predators and relationships to habitats and landscape composition. The following information is needed in the manuscripts; analyses needed are sophisticated and complicated, including geostatistical analyses, spacial analyses, modeling, and fractal analyses. The contractor must be familiar with the data sets, the species of concern, the grassland ecosystem, and predator prey relationships and advanced knowledge of statistics and geospatial analysis is necessary. Because Dr. Mike Phillips has supervised the major portion of data collection, he has analyzed the previous manuscripts for this project and has the data to complete this project, the Government considers this service specified as a sole source from Dr. Mike Phillips, 318 G Avenue Apt #3, Nevada, IA 50201. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required service are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. An affirmative response would include literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the required service stated herein. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Since no solicitation document exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information consideration non-responsive to this request without further consideration. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement. Note 1 & 22.
