Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), National Organic Program has a need for scientific evaluation of substances for inclusion on the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances. This list identified the synthetic substances that may be used and the nonsynthetic substances that cannot be used, in organic production and handling operations. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB destination. All effort shall be completed and all reports delivered by September 30, 2002. This effort is advertised as a small business set aside under NAIC 541690, other Scientific and Technical Services. Multiple awards are anticipated. The solicitation, 65-M-APHIS-01, will be released on or about May 23, 2001.
