Description

The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Elmhurst Engineering, Inc., Albany, NY for Communications Engineering Services for the Electronics, Telemetry, and Communications Team, Fire Support Armaments Center in support of the Anti- Personnel Landmine Alternatives (APL-A) Program. This effort will include the review and analysis of various communications design concepts, assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of alternative concepts; assist in the evaluation of prototyping, demonstrations, and early operational assessments; and assist in risk evaluation so that technology, manufacturing, and support risks are considered. The period of performance for this effort is five months, with a six month option. We are utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only Responsible Source. See Note 22.
