Description

The previous combined synopsis/solicitation for USZA95-01-R-0031 prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 is cancelled as written, including Amendment 1. The new synopsis is prepared as follows and takes precedent over the previously submitted notice. The U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has a requirement for a service contract for the inspection, repair, and testing of Robertson Aviation fuel tanks, pumps, repair parts, and all other sub-assembly parts not to exceed a total of five years (Base period, plus four one-year options). The solicitation, USZA95-01-R-0031 will be issued on or after 1 June 2001 with a 30 day reponse time. This solicitation shall be set a-side 100% for small business. Robertson Aviation, LLC retains all proprietary rights and associated technical data for all the repair items included in this acquisition, and has not authorized any other source to perform these services. Therefore, the Government intends to award this acquisition on a sole source basis to Robertson Aviation, LLC, 1024 E. Vista del Cerro, Tempe, AZ 85281. All information, including provisions and clauses applicable to this solicitation, shall be found at the Interagency Busines Opportunities Page (IBOP) website: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. All interested offerors shall register in IBOP on-line prior to submission of a proposal. Once registered, no further requirement to register is necessary. Although no competition is anticipated, Note 22 applies to this acquisition. Proposals for the solicitation will only be accepted via IBOP. If IBOP is not accessible by the due date, an e-mail submission will be acceptable. The Defense Priorities and Allocations system assigned code is D0A1. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413.
