Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work will consist of construction of an 1800 foot long earth embankment levee and relocation (raising) of 1400 lineal feet of asphalt concrete paved county road to match the levee height. Approximate quantities include the following: Clearing and grubbing, 2 acres; Excavation, 3000 cubic yards; Embankment, 9000 cubic yards; Topsoil, 1300 cubic yards; Grass seeding, 5 acres; 4 foot diameter x 60 foot long CMP culvert ; Cast-in-place concrete inlet structure for culvert with 4 foot slide gate; Riprap toe protection and culvert outlet apron, 250 cubic yards; Turf reinforcement mat, 2000 square yards; AC pavement, Class A, 400 cubic yards; Crushed surfacing top course, 600 cubic yards; Crushed surface base course, 1600 cubic yards; Scarify existing pavement, 300 cubic yards; and barbed wire fencing, 600 lineal feet. The estimated cost range for this job is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification System code (NAICS) IS 234120. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $27,500,000. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer, which may be considered.
