Description

The MCAS, Beaufort, SC has a requirement for a Lathe. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quote M60169-01-Q-J012 applies and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 91-17. The standard industrial code 3549 and the business size is 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract for the following brand name or equal items: BRIDGEPORT EZ-PATH-SD. Optional accessories include Rohm 8" 3-jack chuck, manual, A2-5 mount, w/hard jaws. Includes self-centering adapter and extended T-handle wrench. 5C Air Collet Chuck System, w/foot pedal for standard A2-5 spindle, installed. Steady rest (open) 5/16" -- 3-1/8"m bronze tips, 16" T-slotted face plate, A2-5, (375 rpm max).
