- TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) will be issuing solicitation DABT60-01-R-3009 on or about 01 June 2001 for an A-76 Commercial Activity Study for Directorate of Information Management (DOIM), functions at Carlisle Barracks, PA. The Carlisle Barracks requirements solicit the contractor to perform General Mission Support (Disaster Recovery, Continuity of Operations, Conference Support, Information Management, Data Calls and Briefings, Technology and Product Evaluation, Security, Problem Resolution, Emergency Reponses, Chief Information Office Approval Process, Telecommunications and Computer Facilities Planning, Supply and Equipment Acquisition, Material Handling, Transportation and Storage and Special Tooling Projects), Technical Mission Functions (Technical Advising, Release Management, Network Operating Systems and Server Operations, Electronic Messaging, Desktop Computing, On-Site Customer Support, Database Management, Application Sustainment, Server Hardware and Software Support, Internet and Intranet Webmaster, Telecommunications, Computer Operations and Other Functions). The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 541513 with a size standard of $18M. This procurement is a cost-plus-award-fee and set-aside for Small Business. This is an A-76 Study conducted under OMB Circular A-76 utilizing Formal Source Selection. Oral presentations will be a part of the evaluation process in accordance with FAR 15.3. The apparent successful offeror will compete against a Government In-House "bid". If contracted, the services will include a 90-day Phase-In period, a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods (the last option contains a 60-day Phase-Out period included in the 12-month performance period). NO PAPER copies of the solicitation will be issued. The entire solicitation package will be obtainable via TAC's Home Page at: www.tac.eustis.army.mil. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to the TAC website. Contractors are cautioned and encouraged to check the website periodically for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be complied and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A site visit will be scheduled and conducted in accordance with the solicitation.
