Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement to purchase a Trimos Labconcept Universal Length Measuring Instrument with attachments manufactured by Fred V. Fowler Co., Inc. for the Naval Primary Standard Laboratory (NPSL) in Corona, California. The following apply: (1) ea. Adjustable Supports P/N 54-196-107; (1) ea. Floating Measuring Table P/N 54-197-106; (1) ea. Pair of "V" Supports P/N 54-196-021; (1) ea. Pair of "L" Supports; (1) ea. Pair of .256 Spline Inserts P/N 54-190-806; (1) ea. software "QM Management" P/N 54-778-100; (1) ea. Software "QM P In Gage" P/N 54-778-300; (1) ea. Software "QM Plain & Thread Gage" P/N 54-778-350, (1) ea. Installation and training . Delivery will be required 45 days after contract award. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 33299. The Government intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Products Engineering Corp., 2645 Maricopa Street, Torrance, CA. 90503-5144 under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no others supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Product Engineering Corp. who has the knowledge, equipment, and experience is the Fred V. Fowler Co, Inc. sole Authorized Major Instrument and Lab Concept representative on the West Coast. While this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability to respond to this requirement and may submit information which shall be considered.
