Description

Reference the sources sought synopsis issued on January 9, 200l and modified on January 10, 2001 for performance of Payload Ground Operations at the Kennedy Space Center. Subject effort has been renamed to Checkout, Assembly and Payload Processing Services (CAPPS). The requirement, as defined in the January 10, 2001 synopsis modification remains unchanged. A web site has been established for this acquisition at www.ksc.nasa.gov/procurement/pgoc and is available for immediate use. The web site includes links to information relative to points of contact, acquisition schedule, a list of potential bidders, and reference materials. Links for other acquisition information will be provided as the acquisition progresses and will include information relative to the release of draft solicitation documents, opening of the bidders' library, questions and answers, news and current events, and site visits. Interested parties are encouraged to visit this website regularly to keep abreast of the latest acquisition news and are encouraged to submit questions and comments as information is released. It is anticipated that a draft statement of work will be posted to the web site by the end of May 2001 and that a draft request for proposal will be posted in June 2001. An update announcing the release and availability of these documents will be posted to this NAIS.
