Description

Z-The Agriculture Research Service, USDA requires all labor, supervision, tools, and materials to replace the fire alarm system at the Pasture Systems and Watershed Management Research Unit located in State College, PA. This work includes the replacement of the existing fire detection and alarm system which must be able to report to the Pennsylvania State Univeristy's central station as well as be maintained by the university. The addressable control panel must be a Pyrotronics, Model #MXL-IQ with modem card #CMI-300 & scm-F Synchronous Control Unit. No substitutions shall be permitted. This is a 100% small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19.5 and the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program in Subpart 19.10. The size standard is $9;0 million dollars for the past 3 years and is issued under NAICS Code 561162. The estimated cost of construction is between $50,000 to $100,000. Solicitation RFQ 10-3615-01 will contain all terms, conditions, specification and drawings and will be available on or about June 22, 2001. Requests for a copy of the RFQ must be made in writing and include your company's name, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers and received at the POC's office not later than June 20, 2001.
