Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, intends to procure the propellers for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. Standard propellers (Sensenich Wood Propeller Company (Part Number W29KH18) will be ordered in quantities ranging from a yearly minimum quantity of 700 to a maximum of 1,500. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Sensenich Wood Propeller Company, 2000 Wood Court, Plant City, FL 33567 for a base year plus four one year option periods. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Sensenich Wood Propeller Company is the only authorized manufacturer of propellers by the original equipment manufacturer for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) program. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency See Notes no. 22 and 26.
