Solicitation Number: SP0740-01-R-5148, IQC Number: IQC01026-00-0001, NSN: 4720-01-407-0686, Item Description: Hose Assembly, Nonmetallic. DLAD 52.246-9000, certificate of quality compliance applies. DLAD 52.246-9003, measuring and test equipment, DLAD 52.246-9004, product verification testing, also applies if this solicitation/award calls for government inspection at source. This is a critical application item. Approved sources are Hydraflow, cage code 24984, part number 57012-3-2 and Martin-Baker Aircraft Co. Ltd., cage code U1604, part number MBEU148020. See applicable note number twenty-six. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at htp://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp on its issue date of 6/13/01. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed five years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Required delivery is for 48 units to be delivered in 120 days for each additional quantity of 24 each, 30 days should be added to the delivery. Quoters are encouraged to submit offers with a lower delivery than the Government's desired delivery. This solicitation is for an NSN indefinite quantity type contract. This solicitation will result in an award of an indefinite quantity contract, against which delivery orders may be placed for one year. The option will be for an additional one year period not to exceed four years for the the option.
