Description

Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Vehicles Directorate, Control = Sciences Division, Control Simulation & Assessment Branch, AFRL/VACD, = solicits research proposals for the Simulation-based Technology = Assessment (STA) Program. This program will conduct research and = development to support the integration of technologies into the air = vehicle and to support the development and use of Simulation-based = Research and Development. A Common Synthetic Virtual Battlespace = simulation environment will be developed and maintained. This = simulation environment will be used to study and assess effectiveness = and performance of new technologies. The effect of Situational = Awareness and Operator Vehicle Interface issues utilizing new = technologies shall be investigated. Other technologies critical to = vehicle control shall be investigated, such as control science = technology and control implementation.
