Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates awarding a sole source contract to DeLaRue Giori of America, Inc. to retro-fit three BEP Super-Numerota Currency Overprinting Units with a third ink fountain and ink distribution system. This will include the upgrading of all electrical/electronic control systems to incorporate the operation of the additional fountain. The presses are located at the Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Interested businesses, that are capable of retrofitting this equipment, can submit sufficient data for the Government to determine said capability. This data shall be submitted to Angela Williams at the above address on or before June 2, 2001. Should a solicitation be issued, a copy will be sent to qualified businesses that responded to this notice.
