Description

This synopsis identifies Kirtland Air Force Base?s requirement to = award a contract for packing and crating services. The solicitation = will be issued under a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) identifying = the specific Government regulations and standards required in = performing Government packing and crating services. Packing and = crating services include for the preparation of personal property of = military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and = related services. Performance period will begin on June 1, 2001 for = the base year, followed by 4 subsequent option years through September = 30, 2005. This requirement is a total Small Business set aside. The = Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code / North American Industry = Classification System (NAICS) Code is 4783 / 488991, and the small = business size standard is $18.5 mil. All responsible small business = contractors are encouraged to compete for this action.
