Description

This commercial solicitation will be for line haul transportation services from Vicksburg, MS, McIntosh,AL, or Lake Charles, LA to the following locations: White Sands, NM, Cape Canaveral, FL, Rancho Cordova, CA, or Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. This will be done in accordance with a Statement of Work. There is a possibility that other locations may be added to the above. Product being transported includes nitrogen tetroxide (N204), anhydrous hydrazine (AH), unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH), methylhydrazine (MMH), and aerozine (A-50). Successful contractors will be required to provide and maintain DOT-E-3121 approved stainless steel trailers in exclusive use and dedicated service. There will be a requirement for exercise participation as well as the necessity for providing satellite tracking services. It is the governments intention to solicit this requirement as a three year requirements type contract with 2 one year options. Award will be made to the two lowest responsive and responsible offerors using a negotiated RFP.
