Description
This contract has a base plus one option. The scope of work includes but is not limited to renovation of existing floor to house US District Court Jury Rooms. Contractor must comply with special working conditions regarding working in a US Court Facility and follow specific requirements concerning proprietary security devices and products for which no substitutions will be permitted. Demolition work includes tree removal, soffit access panel, sidewalk, walls, finish ceilings, HVAC, plumbing fire protection, electrical and asbestos abatement. New work includes carpet installation, walls and partitions, acoustical walls, ceilings, doors, raised flooring, glazing, lightning, power, HVAC, exhaust, communications and security devices, plumbing, millwork, concrete pad, brick and block enclosure walls, sidewalk and remote condenser unit at ground level. Renovation work must be performed after normal building hours. Option 1 deletes certain rooms from the scope of work. Contract completion date is 180 calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 233320 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The estimated cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a negotiated best value procurement. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation via the Electronic Posting System (EPS), http:/www.eps.gov on or about June 5, 2001. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and drawings. It is also the offerors' responsibility to monitor the site for possible amendments and/or additional information. Offer due date for receipt of proposals will be July 10, 2001, at 4:00 p.m. (local time).
