Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the following items. 1) One WR15 cal kit HP8510C, 2) One WR12 cal kit HP8510C, 3) One WR10 cal kit HP8510C, 4) Twelve 2.92mm f-f precision adapters, 5) Twelve 2.92mm m-m precision adapters, 6) Twelve 2.92mm f-m precision adapters, and 7) Twelve 3.5mm f-m precision It is the intent of the Government to award this procurement on a sole source basis under authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) with Maury Microwave of Ontario, Ca. as these items must be compatible with existing cal kits in the antenna measurement lab. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (NTE $100,000). This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government's best interest and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement.
