Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ document and contract incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 (Initial). This is a sole source requirement being pursued with Nielsen Media Research for a "Galaxy Lightning" subscription. There are three (3) contract line items, each covering a one-year period, as follows: Base Period-Item 0001; Quantity/Unit-1 YR; Description-Galaxy Lightning Subscription-Includes Broadcast, Cable, and Syndication Data. First Option-Item 0002; Quantity/Unit-1 YR; Description-Galaxy Lightning Subscription-Includes Broadcast, Cable, and Syndication Data. Second Option-Item 0003; Quantity/Unit-1 YR; Description-Galaxy Lightning Subscription-Includes Broadcast, Cable, and Syndication Data. The performance period for the base year will be 1 Jun 01 through 31 May 02. Delivery location: AFRTS-BC-DOP, 1363 Z Street, Building 2730, March ARB, CA 29518. Fill-in information for 52.212-2 "Award will be based upon a proposal that meeting all the terms and conditions of the solicitation, together with a determination by the Contracting Officer that the price is considered fair and reasonable and that the offeror is responsible within the meaning of governing regulations." Fill-in information for 52.217-9: paragraph a-"15 days (the period of time within which the Contracting Officer may exercise the option)'; paragraph c-"The total duration of the contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 36 months."
