Description

The United States Agency For International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Programs, Center for Population, Health and Nutrition (PHN Center) is seeking a source to develop novel, polyspecific malaria vaccines based on the antigen PfEMP1. Through this program the contractor will assist USAID by developing and providing synthetic genes with the capacity to elicit an immune response to many or most PfEMP-1 variants as a basis for developing vaccines against Plasmodium falciparum. USAID anticipates the award will be for a period of three years. Any business with the research and development capability to develop such genes is invited to forward a capability statement expressing interest in this procurement.
