Description

The National Data Buoy Center intends to negotiate only with SatCom Systems, Inc. of Burbank, CA to establish a temporary full period voice service contract through the TMI L-Band satellite for a one month period with options for two additional months. This will enable the National Data Buoy Center to evaluate the full period voice capabilities of the TMI system which presently provides a redundant voice path(circuit switched) for the FAA BCS project which incorporates Westinghouse WaveTalk radios in the design.
