Description

Work consists of constructing an approximately 2,500 Square Meter Building to include excavation, concrete foundation and floor slab, structural steel framing, masonry walls, and standing seam metal roof. Includes multipurpose, isolation and storage rooms, kitchen, fenced playground area, outdoor shade pavilions and all other necessary support for this facility. Estimated cost range is between $5 Million and $10 Million. Solicitation to be issued on or about 8 June 2001. Proposals are due on or about 9 July 2001 at 1400 hours. This solicitation will consist of a Base Bid and one or more options. Duration of the construction project will be approximately 480 days. SIC Code for this procurement is 1542. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 233320, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which corresponds to SIC Code 1542. The Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specs will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through 3.5" diskette, CD-ROM and/or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Offerors from all qualified business concerns are solicited.
