Description

The following information was omitted from Commerce Business Daily announcement posted on May 21, 2001: This contract will be acquired utilizing SOURCE SELECTION procedures with award based on BEST VALUE concept. Anticipated release date of the request for proposal is on or about June 6, 2001, with an anticipated receipt of proposal date of July 10, 2001. A pre-proposal meeting and walk-through will be conducted at the site on June 26, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. Due to the sensitivity of these documents, the solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be released only to those contractors and subcontractors who can provide a copy of their valid state-issued contracting licenses. Contractor shall facsimile a copy of the license to the contracting officer, Christine S. Trevett, at (504) 785-5330. Upon receipt and verification of the license, a compact disk of the specifications and drawings will be sent to the requesting contractor via FEDEX. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Bid/performance/payment bonds will be required. All responsive offers from responsible sources will be considered.
