Description

Z The USDA Agriculture Research Service (ARS) requires that all labor, supervision, tools and materials be provided to replace an existing fire alarm system. The location has nine building sites all with existing detectors, local annunciation and dial up capability to notify the Pennsylvania State Campus authorities. The buildings are in three different areas of the campus. The new system must conform to Pennsylvania State University's standard as the replaced system must be able to report to the University's central station as well as be maintained by the university. The addressable control panel must be a Pyrotronics, no substitutes shall be permitted. The bidding package will be structured with a base bid for the main building with two options. Option 1 will be for installation at the Tower Road Oats Lab Site and Option 2 will be for the installation at the Rock Springs Farm Site. This is a 100% small business set aside. The size standard is $9.0 million dollars for the past 3 years and is issued under NAICS Code 561162. Solicitation RFQ 10-3615-10 will contain all terms, conditions, specifications and drawings and will be available on or about June 22, 2001. Request for a copy of the RFQ must be made in writing and include your company's name, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers and received at the POC's office not later than June 20, 2001.
