Description

Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared = in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with = additional information included in the notice. This announcement = constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a = written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS = SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (i) Solicitation F24604 01 T0366 is = issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (ii) The solicitation is being = conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. = This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are = those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. = (iii) The SIC Code is 2531. (iv) Malmstrom AFB plans to procure and = have installed 126 theater seats, preferred design: Irwin Seating = Marquee Chair (no. 51566TA) or equal. Seats are to be 22in wide, = plastic back of chair, upholstered chair and seat, plastic underside, = tablet arms-laminate. The plastic color will be neutral gray and the = fabric color is to be off red, ex in Ruby Wine (Irwin Seating) or = equal. The chairs are to be fire retardant and Scotch guard is to be = applied to the fabric. Contractor is to supply all labor and materials = needed to install the 126 chairs in Bldg. 3080, room A101. The 126 = chairs are to be installed over the rooms carpeting in 9 rows. Each row = will have a side aisle of 36in, seven chairs, a center aisle (3ft 6in), = seven more chairs, and then another side aisle of 36in. Room is set = with 46in deep, 6in high step style risers. (vii) Delivery: = Performance Period to be 60 days After Receipt of order; FOB = Destination. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to = Offerors _ Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government = will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the = responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be = most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors = considered.
