Description

The objective of this project is to identify and describe the = characteristics of model child safety seat inspection stations. This = shall be accomplished through observation and discourse at selected = inspections stations. This project shall select six inspection = stations for examination. These stations shall possess selected = characteristics deemed important or of interest by the National Highway = Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The Contractor shall assist = NHTSA in determining the station selection criteria, shall construct = information collection instruments and draft information collection = procedures, shall make arrangements for site level observations, shall = conduct site level information collection, shall brief NHTSA on = results, and shall submit a final analytic report to NHTSA. A cost = reimbursable type contract is anticipated with a period of performance = of sixteen (16) months. The solicitation will be mailed to those = organizations responding in writing to this announcement. The = anticipated issuance date is June 27, 2001. =20
