Description

The Internal Revenue Service has a requirement for a contractor = to validate an Electronic Filing Program Participants Test Package = (PATS II) for the Participants Acceptability Test Package (PATS I). = The period of performance will be for one base year with four option = years. The base year will include the validation of a Participants = Acceptability Test Package for tax year 2001. In order to receive an = award, an offeror must have passed the Electronic Filing suitability = tests and have been accepted to file electronically as a software = developer, preparer and transmitter for the ELF system for the prior = three years. No waived software developer, preparer or transmitter = shall be eligible. All interested vendors must request a copy of the = Request for Quotations in writing at the address listed above no later = than June 1, 2001. No oral communications will be accepted. This = acquisition will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition pursuant = to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, as well as FAR Subpart = 13.5, simplified acquisition procedures for acquiring commercial items.
