Description

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract = to Time Warner Communications of Hawaii, L.P. d/b/a Oceanic = Communications under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation = number 6TSA-01-JAG-0163. The solicitation document and incorporated = provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition = Circular (FAC) 97-25. Only one responsible source and no other = supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement = is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Priced = contract for switched voice services and transport services to = government locations within the state of Hawaii, and out to the CONUS = and other Pacific Rim locations. The Contractor shall provide, install, = maintain, repair, operate and control any equipment, cable or = facilities associated with the services ordered under this contract. = The contractor shall pay the cost of purchasing and installing all = system equipment, and such system equipment shall be and remain the = property of the contractor. The proposed contract action is for = services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with = only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may = identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or = submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive = proposals. All inquiries received by 4:00 p.m., CST, 6/01/01 will be = considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to = compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is = solely within the discretion of the government.
