Description

R -- The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/NOAA/NESDIS/ORA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with George Ohring to assist NESDIS in the development and implementation of the Climate Observations and Services Program and Joint Center for Satellite Data Assimilation. Satellite observations and their associated data and information products are critical components of both of these programs with a high priority NESDIS objective to realize the full potential contributions of NOAA's environmental satellite assets to these programs. Mr. Ohring will be responsible for integrating these two (2) programs into NOAA's evolving satellite program. This is a notice of intent with no solicitation package available. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. (Reference No. 1-00465)
