Description

On behalf of the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), an independent = agency of the United States Government, the Bureau of the Public Debt = is seeking a qualified contractor(s) to provide evaluation services for = the sustainability of grassroots development projects supported by the = IAF in Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal of this evaluation is = to assess the factors or conditions that make IAF-supported projects = sustainable after the IAF donations have expired. The contract will be = for a period not-to-exceed eight (8) months. The contract will provide = for a detailed report on the characteristics of sustainable projects, = an assessment of each project included in the evaluation, and a = magazine-length summary of key findings suitable for publication. = These products will help disseminate insights and lessons about project = sustainability, improve grassroots development strategies, and serve as = a guide in the grant-making process. (The Government will consider = proposals from all responsible sources.)
