Description

Amend special notice to replace block 17, Description, with the following: The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Foundation for Accountability (FACCT) for a procurement entitled Pediatric Ambulatory Care Sensitive Hospitalizations: Refinement and Testing of a Performance Measure for Medicaid MCOs, PCCM Programs and Fee-For-Service. This procurement will use FACCT's model and expertise in measuring the quality of child and adolescent health care to develop and test a measure or measures, based on their model for use by Medicaid state agencies in their FFS, MCO-contracting, and PCCM programs.
