Description

The GSA Federal Technology Services (FTS), Center for Information = Security Services (TFI) (hereafter GSA) has a requirement for COMSEC = Systems and Equipment. These are required to meet specific classified = information processing needs. No other supplies or services can meet = the agencies needs. GSA intends to negotiate directly with Group = Technologies, Inc., for 8 KIV-19s. GSA also intends to negotiate for 8 = KIV-19 5020-2 and 9 KIV-19 3014-2, and 1 KIV-7 3018-02 racks and power = supply assemblies. This is a follow-on requirement to prior competed = contracts for which GSA does not have specifications to establish new = sources for such devices. Any company that believes any other = situation is operative or that can provide the specific items and parts = in the required-configurations and timeframes, 30-60 days (item = dependent) should contact Jon Faye at 202-708-6099, or at e-mail = address jon.faye@gsa.gov, on or before the closing date of this notice. = Notice of award will not be made as there are no sub-contracting = opportunities attached to this requirement. This action is taken = pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one = responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy = agency requirements. Note 22 will apply except that since FAR Part = 12.101(b) defines non-developmental items as falling under the same = rules that apply to commercial items buys this notice will close 6/6/01 = and is the only notice requirement. =20
