Description

Design and construct a (approximately 400 SQFT) concrete drainage flume. Saw cut and remove approximately 400 SQFT of failing asphalt, backfill and compact base course as required, and replace final grade/surface with new asphalt. Design for installation and install approximately 690 feet of concrete curb and gutter along existing road and parking lot. Install approximately 660 feet of concrete curb and gutter along State Highway 244 in accordance with attached State of South Dakota Design Detail. Backfill and compact area between existing road/parking lot edge and new gutter edge with base course as required and place new asphalt in void area to match existing asphalt grade. Remove approximately 10 feet of exposed 18 inch concrete culvert, level and compact existing graveled area (approximately 1800 sqft) to appropriate grade, and place new asphalt to match existing asphalt roadsurface grade. Chip and seal approximately 19,800 square feet of existing asphalt road and parking lot surface after above work is complete. Ensure all excess chips are removed prior to paint striping.
