Description

This is a firm-fixed price contract with a NAICS Code of 233320. This acquisition is unrestricted, open to both small and large business concerns. If a subcontracting plan is required, the following minimum goals are applicable: Small Business Subcontracting 61.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting 9.1%; Women-owned Small Business Subcontracting 5.0%; HUBZone Small Business Subcontracting -- 0.5%; and Veteran-owned Small Business Subcontracting 0.5%. The magnitude of construction is between $5M and $10M. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The project consists of the design and construction of a Crash Fire Rescue Station at Kirtland AFB, NM. A new 3,118 SM (33,500 SF) building is required to replace an existing fire station. The project includes the demolition, as required, of approximately seven buildings. Support utilities to the new facility will include water, gas, electrical, waste, storm drainage, and communications. Construction of a water retention pond is also required. The proposed site is located 100 meters south of the existing fire station off San Mateo Boulevard. Technical proposals will be evaluated on Site and Floor Plans, Past Performance, Management Plan, and Schedule. Questions of a technical nature should be addressed to Dan Lenz at (505) 342-3612.
