Description

The St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the limited modernization -- similar sites. The project consists of limited modernization at the Folsom, Marie Fanger, Samuel Shepard, Hodiamont and Highland/Cupples developments. The work will consist of, but not be limited to, new siding, roof shingles, fencing, site paving, landscaping, replacement of balconies/stairs, new cabinets, new A/C units, floor finishes, paint and doors. Solicitation documents will be available for pick up in the Authority's Procurement Section, 4100 Lindell oulevard, 3rd Floor, St. Louis, MO 63108 starting at 12:00 p.m. (noon) (Local Time) Wednesday, May 30, 2001. There will be a $100.00 non-refundable fee, payable by CASHIER'S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER, charged for each set of drawings. A Pre-Bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at 4100 Lindell Boulevard. There will be a site visit immediately following the pre-bid conference. The SLHA will receive sealed bids for this service until 3:00 p.m. (Local Time), June 27, 2001, at the St. Louis Housing Authority, Procurement Section, Third Floor, 4100 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108, at which time and place all qualified bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bidders must comply with Section 3 and MBE/WBE requirements.
