Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a full tracked mulcher/shredder tractor. The tractor shall be a standard production, diesel engine driven, crawler-type tractor modified to include a brush chopper/shredder in place of a front bucket attachment. Minimum power requirements include a 450 net horsepower, turbo-charged diesel engine and hydrostatic drive transmission. This vehicle is intended to be used to chop and shred brush and small trees in both dry and swampy areas. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.
