Description

This is a modification to the May 11, 2001 Request for Quotes = (RFQ) on twelve (12) workstations and six (6) 4-processor 19-inch rack = mountable servers with RAID storage systems. Note that there was a = typographical error in the original synopsis; the word ?inch? should be = inserted after the number ?19? (as above). These revisions apply to = the solicitation?s server specification that was distributed via = e-mail. The deadline for requesting the original specifications has = passed; they will not be further distributed. The technical = requirements for the I/O SLOTS are changed to: Each server shall have = a minimum of 6 PCI slots (a minimum of 4 shall be hot-pluggable); the = minimum configuration is 2 x 64-bit/66MHz PCI slots and 4 x = 64-bit/33MHz PCI slots. The technical requirements for the power = supply are changed to: Each server shall have redundant hot-pluggable = power supplies -- each power supply shall be capable of independently = powering the server. Quotes shall include the following statement: = ?We acknowledge your RFQ modification dated May 25, 2001.? As a result = of these revisions, the submission deadline is extended. Quotes must = be received by 2:00 PM EDT on June 8, 2001 and should be mailed to Mr. = Jim Ferguson at the above address, e-mailed to = jferguson@comdt.uscg.mil, or faxed to 202-267-4475.
