Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has been tasked by the Air Force to design ,fabricate, and prototype a pultruded composite matting system which will require the use of Ebert Composites, "z-fiber reinforcement process", in accomplishing this task. Ebert Composites Corporation possess unique knowledge and expertise as the owner and developer of this Patent Pending pultrusion process capability to deposit "z-fiber" reinforcement as directly applicable, to the development of composite replacement panels for the existing aluminum panels presently used in the field.The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
