- Description
- Proposals are requested to revise, continuously update and deliver a training course on Statewide and Metropolitan Transportation Programming. The subcontract is three (3) years with a two- (2) year option to be exercised solely at the discretion of Rutgers University. This course is multimodal in nature and is designed to reach the broad transportation planning community. This course already exists and instructional materials will be provided with the RFP. Statewide and Metropolitan Transportation Programming (FP207) consists of twenty (20) hours of instruction, over two and one-half (2 ) days per delivery with up to twenty-four (24) course offerings within three- (3) years of subcontract signing and up to sixteen (16) offerings during the option period, if exercised. This course provides instruction on the basic concepts, components, and participants in the transportation programming process. Current and best practices are incorporated into the program. The course covers the metropolitan and statewide programming processes required under federal law and regulations and the variety among state programming processes including typical legal, political, and traditional process constraints, as well as aspects of local programming. NTI will require proposers to have had experience with the subject matter as well as experience in revising, updating, and delivering training programs. To obtain a copy of the complete RFP, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement & Contracting address above.
