Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis for (4) Mechanical Wrenches P/N PD6501 from Power-Dyne LLC, 2055 South Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457-6151 for specialized hardware required for the KC130-J aircraft. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. The United States government does not own design, data, technical drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-01-Q-0535. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates a firm fixed-price contract. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
