Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), intends to modify CBD submission No. 50M846 dated May 22, 2001 to modify the requirement to change the fuel tank capacity of the vehicle from > 45 gallons to a capacity of 75 gallons. In addition, the vehicle must have two fuel tanks, one on the left side and one on the right side. The vehicle must also be equipped with the following: Engine Alternator, 100 amp (or greater); Compression engine brake; Six speed standard shift transmission; anti-lock front and rear hydraulic disk brake system; Michelin 245/70R 19.5 14-ply (or equivalent) tires. The cab interior shall contain a forward roof mounted overhead console, heater and air conditioner, electrical self-resetting circuit breakers and tilt telescoping steering. The driver and passenger seats shall be cloth high back with lumbar support air suspension with arm rests. The cab exterior shall consist of an air mount cab, left and right side grab handles and a 3' sleeper. The vehicle shall contain the following instruments: air restriction gauge, voltmeter gauge, fuel gauge, engine temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, tachometer gauge, AM FM WB radio, intermittent wipers and cruise control. Delivery- FOB destination to MSIC, BLDG 4545 Fowler Rd, Redstone Arsenal AL 35898, 60 days from date of award. No RFQs or RFPs shall be issued other than the original notice submission number 50M846 and this modification to that notice. The date for submitting an offer is revised from June 5, 2001 to June 12, 2001.
