Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-01-T-0486 applies and is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11.The standard industrial code is 5941 and the business size standard is NTE 5.0 million. The agency need is for: Item 0001: Qty: 1 Ea. Boxmaker, Shall complete short runs of corrugated boxes. Shall be capable of making several hundred boxes of many different sizes and styles per day. Shall meet or exceed the following specifications: Electric: 10a@110v, 5a@220v, single phase Compressed air: 2 CFM, 70-120 psi Notch length and width: 2-18", 0.25" std Body crease, maximum: 44", 22" each side Production, maximum: 300 blanks/hour Material, up to: Double wall 600 lb. Test Item 0002: Qty: 1 Ea. Slitter Machine, Shall cut up to triple wall corrugated sheets into box blank sizes. Shall meet or exceed the following specifications: Electric: 110v/.2a or 220v/.1a, single phase Slitting depth: 50" Speeds: Variable, 0-100 in/sec Material: Up to triple wall 1200 lb The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies with paragraph (a) completed as follows: Award will be made to the offeror that meets the solicitation's minimum criteria for acceptability at the lowest price. Responsible offeror must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted quote.
