Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Defense Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, as a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (DAHA40-01-Q-0012) is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates those provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS -- 333111 / SIC -- 3523. The size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for one trailer mounted spreader, loose material hydroseeder with a hose reel package installed. The Government considers the T-90, Series II, trailer mounted Hydroseeder with an installed hose reel package manufactured by FINN Corporation or equal to meet the minimum requirements. Descriptive literature of the product is required. Delivery is FOB destination to Tullahoma, TN. The required delivery date is 29 June 2001 -- earlier, if possible. Award shall be based on the lowest price, technically acceptable spreader.
