Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ACL-1-Q-0019 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 3827 optical instruments and lenses. Part Number 10821-201 Model Number IRTV-445L Loris Demonstration units with analog control panel, long range thermal imaging system operating in the 8-12 micron spectral band. Quality (3) three each. Delivery date: No later than 06-15-01. Lenses are to be delivered FOB destination to U.S. Border Patrol, Attn: Richard Butler, Sector Electronics, 2411 Boswell Road, Chula Vista, CA 91914. Provision at 52.21222-1, Instruction to offerors -- Commercial and provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial items applies to this acquisition. The acceptable and price offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, offeror Representations aand Certifications -- Commercial items, with its offer.
