Description

Furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials required to complete the supply, delivery, and incidental installation of six (6) duplex switchboard sections with two new sections and performing modifications, adding cables and materials as required and specified at Southwestern Power Administration's Van Buren, Arkansas switching station in Crawford county. Supply and deliver one duplex switchboard panel and miscellaneous materials as required and specified to the Corps of Engineer's R. S. Kerr Dam, Cowlington, OK in LeFlore county. The completion date for the supply, delivery and installation of the six duplex switchboard sections at the Van Buren switching station is June 15, 2002. The one duplex switchboard panel is to be delivered to R.S. Kerr Dam by March 30, 2002. A hard copy of the solicitation package will be furnished only upon written request and for a non-refundable fee of $50 is required for a hard copy of the solicitation and 18 x 24 size drawings. Checks, money orders, and cashier's checks shall be made payable to "Southwestern Power Administration." The solicitation including the drawings will be available on a compact disc in an Adobe Aerobat format free of charge. Written requests for the compact disc will be accepted and may be sent by facsimile to Fax No. (918) 595-6656. No telephone requests for the solicitation package in either hard copy or compact disc form will be accepted. This proposed acquisition contains a Small Business Set-Aside provision. Southwestern does not intend to acquire the proposed acquisition as a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Notes 12 and 26. When the solicitation is issued, the solicitation excluding the drawings will be available at the Internet address http:/www.swpa.gov under the icons entitled "Acquisitions" and "Solicitations for Contracts." All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by Southwestern.
