Description

Western Area Power Administration, Upper Great Plains Region, intends to acquire on a sole-source basis Doble Engineering relay test set systems (P/N F6150) which will include on-site training. Western intends to procure test sets manufactured by one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This purchase will be processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code that is applicable to this procurement is 334515 and the size standard is 500. This notice does not constitute a request for quotes, however, interested parties may identify their written interest of satisfying the equal products by faxing the Contract Specialist at 605/353-9250. Capability statements of "equal" products of the brand name manufacturer must include documentation of the manufacturer's ability to meet salient physical, functional and performance characteristics of the above mentioned relay test sets. This Information received will be considered for the purpose of competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice, an order will be placed with Doble Engineering or one of their authorized representatives. See Note 1.
